Local Dialogue is working with property investment, development and regeneration specialist, Northern Trust, to provide ongoing consultation and communications support for its proposals for around 170 new homes on the edge of a golf course.

Challenges

• Previous plans rejected with aggressive opposition
• Concern that the new plans aim to reintroduce the bigger scheme 
“through the back door”
• Concern over impact on the long-term viability of the golf course
• Worries that the scheme will make the course less attractive in order to close it
